Results of the VII Regional Scientific and Practical Internet Conference
On March 12, 2026, a landmark event was held at the Faculty of Health Care and Sports of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University – the VII Regional Scientific and Practical Internet Conference with all-Ukrainian participation “Physical Culture and Sports: Modern Aspects and Development Trends”.
Despite the challenges of today, the event brought together a wide range of like-minded people: from leading scientific and pedagogical workers and postgraduates to practitioners – coaches, physical education teachers and ambitious students.
The plenary session, which was held in the format of an online discussion, demonstrated the high level of scientific training of the participants and significant interest in the implementation of innovations in the field of physical culture and sports.
The conference was carried out in six strategic areas, among which special attention was drawn to:
Digitalization and management in sports – introduction of the latest technologies into the system of training athletes.
Physical therapy and occupational therapy – exchange of experience in the application of modern rehabilitation methods.
Health preservation – development of effective fitness technologies for different groups of the population.
The conference became a powerful platform for highlighting scientific research aimed at improving the training process and increasing the level of physical activity of the population. The participants noted the importance of combining theoretical developments with practical experience, which is an important factor in the development of Olympic and professional sports in Ukraine.
Holding such scientific events confirms the active role of the Faculty of Health Care and Sports of LTSNU as a center for the development of modern sports science, the formation of a professional community and the training of highly qualified specialists in the field of physical culture and sports.
We sincerely thank all the speakers for their informative presentations, and the participants for their active participation and interesting questions. Your energy and scientific research prove that Ukrainian sports science is confidently moving forward.
