Outcomes of the Student Research Group ‘Innovations in Transport’ for the 2025–2026 Academic Year
The priority task of the group’s operation is to develop students’ basic and specialized competencies, acquire practical skills in independent research work, and integrate theoretical knowledge into the field of scientific and practical application.
The group’s activities involve collaborative discussion of current issues in the development of modern transport infrastructure, transportation safety, and the implementation of advanced technologies aimed at training qualified specialists in the field of transport-oriented vocational education.
Results of the Student Research Group “Innovations in the Transport Sector”
In the 2025–2026 academic year, 37 students of the first (Bachelor’s) and second (Master’s) levels participated in the work of the research group. They represented the programmes “Professional Education (Transport)” and “Professional Education (Agricultural Production, Processing of Agricultural Products and Food Technologies).”
Twenty-nine group members enhanced their professional competencies through Electude, a remote interactive technical learning platform focused on the fundamentals of modern vehicles, diagnostic and repair methods, knowledge assessment, and online testing. The results were taken into account during the final assessment of automotive-related courses.
For the first stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Research Paper Competition in the field of “Technical Sciences,” 17 research papers were prepared, four of which received winner diplomas.
On April 6, 2026, as part of Science Days at the Department of Professional Education, Restaurant and Tourism Business, almost all members of the research group participated in the round table “Innovations in Science, Production, and the Service Sector.” Eleven group members delivered presentations.
On April 9, 2026, the Department of Professional Education, Restaurant and Tourism Business held the seminar “Innovations in Education.” Five students took part in the seminar. Special recognition was given to the presentation by Nataliia Ross, a first-year Master’s student in the “Vocational Education (Transport)” programme.
The group members published six articles in the collection of research papers by students “Scientific Search of Young Researchers,” No. 1, 2026.
During the 2025–2026 academic year, eight members of the research group participated in three scientific and practical conferences. Eleven conference abstracts were published.
On June 17, 2026, the final meeting of the research group was held, dedicated to analyzing the effectiveness and summarizing the results of its work during the 2025–2026 academic year. During the meeting, a comprehensive report on the group members’ scientific achievements was presented, including their participation in conferences, research competitions, and publication activities in academic collections. The final part of the meeting was a formal recognition and award ceremony honoring the best student researchers for their significant achievements in research activities and outstanding academic results.
The following students were recognized as the best young researchers of the “Innovations in the Transport Sector” group:
Yurii Eduardovych Rubchevskyi – fourth-year student of the first (Bachelor’s) level of higher education in the “Professional Education (Transport)” programme;
Anton Valeriiovych Borkut – third-year student of the first (Bachelor’s) level of higher education in the “Professional Education (Agricultural Production, Processing of Agricultural Products and Food Technologies)” programme;
Valentyn Oleksandrovych Sunko – fourth-year student of the first (Bachelor’s) level of higher education in the “Professional Education (Transport)” programme;
Eduard Serhiiovych Lozhechka – fourth-year student of the first (Bachelor’s) level of higher education in the “Professional Education (Transport)” programme;
Nataliia Ross – first-year student of the second (Master’s) level of higher education in the “Professional Education (Transport)” programme.
