Results of the 1st Round of the All-Ukrainian Competition
In order to find and support gifted students, create conditions for their creative growth and in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated 05.11.2025 No. 1/23400-25, the Department of Philosophy and Sociology held the 1st round of the All-Ukrainian Competition of Student Research Papers in the 2025–2026 academic year.
During the established deadline for accepting papers (from February 25 to 27), 15 research papers were submitted for consideration by the competition committee, including 10 papers in the field of “Philosophy” and 5 papers in the field of “Sociology”. The submitted studies demonstrated a high level of critical thinking, mastery of methodology and the relevance of the chosen topic.
The evaluation of the works was carried out by leading specialists of the department:

Y.S. Nuzhna, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, Associate Professor;

A.A. Hots, Candidate of Social Sciences, Associate Professor (involved in the evaluation of works on philosophy).
By the decision of the competition committee on the basis of professional review and defense of the results, the winners were determined as follows:
Direction “Philosophy”:
1st place: Nataliia Lishchenko, Yelyzaveta Vetrova.
2nd place: Sofia Nedohybchenko, Viktoria Borisenko.
3rd place: Yevhenia Molkina, Yaromyr Fundukian, Yana Pavliuk.
Direction “Sociology”:
1st place: Anatolii Anikiiev.
2nd place: Yurii Metelskyi.
3rd place: Andrii Shutkov.
The members of the commission noted the thoroughness of the participants’ preparation, their ability to formulate complex research problems and defend their own scientific position with arguments. The competition promotes the development of academic culture at the department and prepares future sociologists and philosophers for professional activity in the scientific field.
