Educational Opportunities for the Youth of Myrhorod: Dialogue Between Authorities and Educators
During the event, the educational offers of the 2026 admission campaign of LTSNU were discussed and the opportunities for studying in its units operating on the basis of Myrhorod were explained.
The Head of the Myrhorod District Council, Nataliia HYRKA, introduced the team of the educational institution and opened the meeting, emphasizing the importance of coordinating efforts between communities and educators to ensure access of young people to quality professional education within the district.
Detailed information about the educational offers of the university at all locations was provided by Nataliia MATSAI, Dean of the Faculty of Natural and Agrarian Sciences. Nataliia Yuriivna reported that the educational institution has a 105-year history and trains specialists in 216 educational programs. Special attention was paid to the work of structural units located directly in Myrhorod. The Dean emphasized the university’s readiness to adapt educational services in accordance with the needs of local communities.
Mykhailo SAPIZHAK, director of the Brianka Professional College of LTSNU, joined the discussion. He presented the capabilities of the university’s vocational colleges and outlined the features of training specialists based on the Myrhorod location.
In order to further inform community residents, the deputy director of the Faculty of Natural and Agrarian Sciences, Nataliia PAVLOVA, handed over prepared information materials to representatives of village councils and education departments. They contain current data on areas of training and admission requirements, which will facilitate outreach among graduates and their parents.
The meeting took place in the format of an open dialogue: the participants discussed practical aspects of interaction and received the necessary information for effective planning of career guidance work in communities.
It is thanks to such initiatives that the youth of the Myrhorod region receive more opportunities for development, professional growth and a secure future in their native land. Together, we are forming an educational space in which every young resident of the community has a chance to realize their potential.
