The event brought together scientists, students and practitioners.

This year, the geography of the participants was extremely wide. In addition to the teachers of our faculty, the conference was joined by fellow scientists from leading institutions of higher education: Oles Honchar Dnipro National University, Taras Shevchenko National University "Chernihiv Collegium" and H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University. The exchange of experience with invited practitioners - speech therapists from the Poltava Rehabilitation Center and speech and language therapists from the International School of Esch and Differdange in Luxembourg - was extremely valuable.

The working program of the event was long and meaningful. Both teachers and students made presentations. The participants discussed a wide range of topical issues of special education and psychology, starting from the evolution of approaches to speech disorders in ICD-11 (with an emphasis on the transition from a purely medical to a socio-psychological model) and ending with an in-depth analysis of the psychological state and characteristics of children with hearing impairments.

Following the work, the participants highly appreciated the practical value of the reports and reached agreements on further cooperation. The conference was held in a constructive atmosphere, leaving a positive impression on all those present.
