The development team received a Ukrainian patent for a utility model No. 162726 – “Method for producing a functional energy bar for military nutrition.” This achievement is a significant step in the development of domestic food innovations and an undeniable confirmation of the high level of research work at the department.

In modern conditions, when thousands of Ukrainian defenders face excessive physical and psycho-emotional stress every day, the issue of high-quality, compact and balanced nutrition in the field is critically important. The patented utility model belongs to the food industry and offers the latest technology for manufacturing functional products for special purposes.

The developed energy bar is designed to be an ideal addition to dry rations, as it quickly satisfies hunger, restores strength and provides the body with necessary nutrients in extreme conditions.

Obtaining a patent is an important result of the scientific activity of the department, as it confirms the novelty and practical value of the research conducted. This helps to increase the authority of the scientific team, opens up opportunities for commercialization of developments and strengthens the competitiveness of the educational institution.
