The participants were introduced to Order No. 494-k-26 of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, dated September 11, 2026, “On Announcing a Competition to Fill the Position of Rector of the State Institution ‘Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University,’” as well as to the corresponding order of the rector concerning the organization of the rector election.

Particular attention during the meeting was given to organizational aspects of the electoral process. The participants were informed about the establishment of an organizing committee and the central election commission, which will be responsible for preparing and conducting the election in accordance with the established requirements.

The college directors and faculty deans were also introduced to the Regulations on the Organization and Conduct of the Election of the Rector of the State Institution “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.”

During the meeting, the participants were presented with the work plans of the organizing committee and the central election commission. The main organizational stages and issues related to preparations for the election were also identified.

The meeting marked an important stage in coordinating the work of the university’s structural units and ensuring the proper organization of the electoral process.
