Methodological Seminar "Rules for Writing a Scientific Article Based on Research Results"
On April 30, 2026, a methodological seminar “Rules for the preparation of a scientific article based on the results of research” was held, the speaker of which was Olena KARAMAN, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Rector of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.
The event, which was held in a mixed format, was organized on the initiative of Olena Leonidivna, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Annual International Scientific and Practical Conference “Days of Science – 2026 (Natural, Agrarian Sciences and Natural Education)”. During the plenary and sectional meetings of the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Days of Science – 2026” (Natural, Agrarian Sciences and Natural Education) in the city of Myrhorod, educators of the Myrhorod community presented their achievements. These presentations demonstrated profound developments, original projects, and innovative methods that have high scientific value and require proper representation in a broad academic space. It was the need for a qualitative transformation of this "live" practical experience into the format of professional scientific articles and theses that became the key leitmotif of the meeting.
The seminar was attended not only by educators and students of our university, but also by postgraduate students from other higher education institutions, educators from Poltava, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk and other regions of Ukraine. The total number of participants exceeded 150 people.
The seminar program was designed as a step-by-step guide for those who are taking their first confident steps in scientific writing. The speaker explained in detail the architecture of a modern publication, explaining to the participants how to transform the results of their research into a structured and convincing text. The focus was on the logic of constructing each section - from the correct definition of the object and subject of the study to the formulation of conclusions that reflect scientific novelty. Special emphasis was placed on the fact that for publications, not only content is important, but also compliance with design standards.
After the presentation of the materials, Olena Leonidovna answered questions. A large number of questions concerned the ethics of using artificial intelligence: participants actively discussed where the technical assistance of neural networks in editing ends and the risk of violating academic integrity begins. Issues of copyright and intellectual property protection also arose. Educators sought to clearly understand the mechanisms of correct citation, which would allow integrating their own work into the general scientific context, avoiding errors when checking for plagiarism.
The end of the seminar was marked by an atmosphere of scientific inspiration and readiness for new publication achievements. The combination of practical experience presented in interesting reports by teachers at the conference meeting, the provision of methodological justification for the preparation of materials by the speaker laid a solid foundation for high-quality preparation of materials.
We wish all participants of the seminar inspired and fruitful work on the preparation of materials!
