Memorandum of Cooperation with the Poltava Regional Organisation of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society
Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Poltava Regional Organisation of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society. The document provides for the development of partnership in the fields of education, science, volunteer work, and humanitarian activities.
On behalf of the University, the Memorandum was signed by Rector Olena Karaman. The interests of Iryna Pliusnina, Head of the Poltava Regional Organisation of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society, were represented during the signing by Olena Pakhomova, Head of the Lubny Branch of the Poltava Regional Organisation of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society.
An important role in organising and conducting the event was played by the Marketing Department of LTSNU, which ensured the coordination of the meeting and communication between the parties.
The cooperation provides for the implementation of joint educational, social, and humanitarian projects, the organisation of conferences, seminars, training sessions, and round tables, the involvement of students in volunteer activities, as well as the introduction of psychosocial support programmes. Particular attention will be paid to the development of students’ practical skills and the exchange of professional experience.
After signing the Memorandum, the parties discussed priority areas of cooperation and specific steps for implementing joint initiatives. The participants of the meeting emphasised that the cooperation would not be limited to the formal signing of the document but would be filled with real actions and practical activities for the benefit of students and the community.
The conclusion of the Memorandum became an important step in developing the partnership between the University and one of Ukraine’s largest humanitarian organisations, opening up new opportunities for the implementation of joint educational, volunteer, and humanitarian initiatives.
