Gratitude on the Independence Day of Ukraine
Among the awardees was Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University and the university's rector, Olena Karaman. The award was presented for active civic position, patriotism, support for military personnel, and significant contribution to strengthening the state's defense capabilities.
The event was held in a sincere and relaxed atmosphere. Its decoration was the performances of young volunteer performers: Alina Bandura, who presented the audience with musical compositions accompanied by the bandura, and Mykola Skotnikov with the song “Oh, in the meadow there is a red viburnum”.
At the end, those present were treated to a festive cake for the Independence Day of Ukraine, prepared by volunteers, and a traditional Ukrainian loaf from Natalia Danko. The festive treat added special warmth to the meeting and became a symbolic expression of gratitude, unity and support for the defenders of Ukraine.
This award is a testament to the recognition of the activities of the university community, which has consistently supported the defenders of Ukraine, veterans and their families since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
We sincerely thank the military and veterans for their trust and high appreciation of our work. Together, we bring the Victory of Ukraine closer!
