University Expands Cooperation with Healthcare and Wellness Institutions in Myrhorod
During the visit, the University representatives met with Liliia Mandryka, Deputy Director of PJSC Healthcare and Wellness Institution “Myrhorodkurort.” She is also a highly accomplished endocrinologist of the highest qualification category, a Candidate of Sciences, and a specialist with many years of professional experience.
During the meeting, the parties discussed promising areas of cooperation between “Myrhorodkurort” and the Department of Healthcare and Rehabilitation, as well as opportunities to expand partnership with Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University as a whole.
Special attention was given to the practical training of students. The discussion focused on the possibility of students completing educational and professional internships at Myrhorod’s sanatorium and resort institutions. This would allow future specialists to work in a real professional environment, improve their practical skills, and gain experience interacting with patients.
The parties also considered opportunities for implementing joint educational, scientific, and awareness-raising projects, as well as organizing training sessions, seminars, round tables, professional meetings, and other events in the fields of healthcare, rehabilitation, and sanatorium-and-resort treatment. Another promising area of cooperation could involve engaging specialists from “Myrhorodkurort” in professional interaction with the University’s students and academic staff.
During the meeting, the main provisions and terms of a future cooperation agreement between “Myrhorodkurort” and Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University were also discussed. Signing the agreement is expected to create additional opportunities for the development of practice-oriented education, academic cooperation, and joint initiatives.
The Department of Healthcare and Rehabilitation, in cooperation with the Marketing Department of LTSNU, continues to expand its network of partners, creating new opportunities for students’ professional development, practical training, and future employment. Such cooperation between education and practical medicine is an important component in training modern, competitive specialists.
