The event was dedicated to the current issues of ethical, safe and responsible use of artificial intelligence technologies in educational, scientific and research activities.

The workshop was implemented with the support of the European Union and UNESCO as part of an international initiative aimed at implementing the UNESCO Recommendations on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence through the use of modern innovative tools and practices. Representatives of UNESCO, the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Microsoft and DevRain, the Ukrainian Catholic University, the Ukrainian National Office of Intellectual Property and Innovation, KSE University, as well as other leading educational, scientific and technological institutions were involved in the program.

Workshop participants were introduced to international approaches to assessing the impact of artificial intelligence systems on society, issues of ensuring transparency of algorithms, protection of personal data, academic integrity and the formation of a responsible policy for the use of AI in the educational environment. Particular attention was paid to practical tools for assessing risks and opportunities for the application of artificial intelligence in higher education institutions.

Participation in such international events contributes to the development of professional competencies of scientific and pedagogical staff of the university, the expansion of international cooperation and the implementation of modern European approaches to the digital transformation of education. The knowledge and practical experience gained will become an important basis for the further development of innovative educational activities at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University and the formation of a culture of responsible use of artificial intelligence in the academic environment.
