Coffee with a Guarantor: The Opinion of Graduates Matters!
During the meeting, the educational program that students have been studying for four years was discussed. For the department, such meetings are an important component of the continuous improvement of the educational process, because it is the graduates who can best assess the strengths of the program and offer ideas for its development.
In a warm and open atmosphere, the participants shared their own learning experience and made a number of constructive suggestions, including:
- introduction of a separate educational component in Ukrainian Sign Language;
- strengthening the practical component of individual educational components;
- use of video recordings of classes in the speech therapy room with subsequent professional analysis and discussion during training.
All proposals were carefully recorded and will be considered by the project group during the next review of the educational program.
We thank our graduates for their care, active citizenship and sincere desire to make the educational program even more modern, practice-oriented and meet the current needs of future specialists in the field of special education.
Open dialogue with students and graduates is the key to continuous development of the educational program, improvement of its quality and compliance with modern professional challenges.
