The seminar was organized by the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance in partnership with Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University.

The event focused on discussing current standards and mechanisms for ensuring the quality of higher education in the field of Social Work and Counselling, as well as developing practical recommendations for their effective implementation in educational processes and professional practice.

During the seminar, participants focused on the development of internal systems for supporting psychological well-being at higher education institutions, viewing such systems as an important component of the resilience of the university community.

Considerable attention was also devoted to establishing partnerships between universities and local communities to promote the social adaptation and professional integration of servicewomen and servicemen through educational and counselling services.

Leading experts also shared practical recommendations for addressing the difficulties faced by students during their first year of study. Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of mentoring, systematic support, and timely assistance as students adapt to the university environment.
