Informational and Practical Session on Psycho-Emotional Support
On May 18, 2026, the team of the scientific project "Institutionalization of interaction between a higher education institution and territorial communities as a factor in the restoration and preservation of human capital in conditions of martial law and post-war reconstruction of the country" in cooperation with the ICF "Ukrainian Foundation for Public Health" held an informational and practical session on psycho-emotional support.
The project manager Nadiia VASYNOVA, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the Department of Public Service and Management of Educational Institutions of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, addressed the participants with an introductory speech. She emphasized the importance of psycho-emotional resilience as a factor in the preservation of human capital and emphasized the importance of partnership between the University and the public sector in the process of restoring the country.
The event was attended by university students, master's degree graduates, representatives of local communities and the scientific and pedagogical staff of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.
Program Manager of the Ukrainian Public Health Foundation Hanna LEMESHKO presented the foundation's activities and the range of available services. She also provided participants with all the necessary information for further appeals if necessary.
Psychologist of the multidisciplinary mobile team Olha KARASOVA conducted an interactive exercise "My Resource" and shared practices for stress relief and psycho-emotional recovery (breathing techniques, physical exercises, short meditations).
The session contributed to:
the formation of self-support and psycho-emotional resilience skills, which are necessary for students and community representatives in difficult conditions of martial law;
dissemination of practical tools for working with various target groups in the community, including youth, educators, and social workers, which allows applying the knowledge gained in professional and community activities;
strengthening partnerships between the university and the public sector, which opens up new opportunities for joint projects, exchange of experience, and the formation of a sustainable human capital support system.
We sincerely thank our partners and everyone who joined the event. We are convinced that further cooperation with the Ukrainian Foundation for Public Health will allow us to expand the range of practical tools to support young people, educators and community representatives in today's difficult conditions.
