I Stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in the Specialty "Physical Culture and Sports"
The objectives of the Olympiad are to increase the interest of higher education applicants in in-depth study of the OK "Theory and Methods of Sports Training"; determine the level of mastery of the necessary knowledge and skills in the field of physical culture and sports; promote a healthy lifestyle among young people; identify promising future specialists oriented towards professions in the field of physical culture and sports.
The Olympiad program included two competitive tests: testing knowledge in the discipline "Theory and Methods of Sports Training"; a theoretical task in the form of a round table, where it was necessary to express your thoughts and provide practical recommendations on the problem in the form of a speech.
The Olympiad was solemnly opened by the Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Dean of the Faculty of Health and Sports Dubovoi Oleksandr Volodymyrovych. He emphasized the importance of scientific work in coaching and focused in more detail on the professional qualities and specifics of the coach's work.
The Chairman of the Olympiad Jury, Candidate of Sciences in Physical Education and Sports, Professor Volodymyr Honcharenko, delivered a welcoming speech. He familiarized the participants with the program of the event, explained the conditions for completing the tasks and the criteria for their evaluation.
The participants were set for fruitful work and took a responsible approach to the competitive tasks. The competition was evaluated by a qualified jury consisting of: Honored Coach of Ukraine, Associate Professor Vitalii Lapytskyi; Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Hanna Tolcheva; Doctor of Philosophy, Associate Professor Olena Shynkarova.
Following the results of participation in the competitions, the following students were also awarded with diplomas: Krokhmal Danyl, Naumenko Volodymyr, Monastyrskyi Oleksandr.
