The event was attended by higher education institutions of the city and region, scientific institutions, representatives of small and medium-sized businesses, state and local government bodies, public organizations, etc. The event was joined by the head of the Department of Economics and Marketing Lyudmila HORBATIUK. In total, the event in a hybrid format was attended by more than 400 people interested in grant opportunities from the state and the EU.

The event was opened by the Executive Director of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine Olha POLOTSKA. She focused on the importance of scientific integration. Iryna SALOGUB, Deputy Head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, as well as Yehor PYVOVAROV, an expert on political issues in the field of science and innovation of the EU Delegation to Ukraine, addressed the participants with welcoming words.

During the two-day event, the participants had a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the structure and governing bodies of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine, as well as the key areas of its activities. In addition, the participants of the event:

• learned how the foundation's activities ensure the development of science in Ukraine;

• received detailed information about current NRFU competitions;

• examined and analyzed step-by-step instructions for organizational support (from writing an application for participation in the competition to reporting on the project).

Grant opportunities for higher education institutions in Ukraine are critically important, as they allow them to implement innovative practices, modernize the educational environment, improve security issues, etc. We sincerely thank the organizers of the event and the university management for the opportunity to participate. This experience will be a guarantee of participation in grant programs.
