Formation of Academic Integrity of Students Majoring in "Preschool Education"
In order to develop relevant competencies, applicants for the first (bachelor's) and second (master's) levels of higher education in the specialty A2 Preschool Education completed the online course "Academic Integrity" on the Prometheus and VUM online platforms. Successful completion of the course was confirmed by certificates confirming the acquisition of theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
During the study, students:
- mastered the basics of academic writing and the principles of correct citation;
- formed an understanding of ethical norms in educational and scientific activities;
- acquired skills for independent and responsible work with information sources;
- realized the importance of preventing academic plagiarism and other violations of academic integrity.
The acquired knowledge and skills are integrated into the further educational activities of students, in particular during the performance of educational and research tasks, preparation of qualification works and practical training.
Involvement in non-formal education programs contributes to improving the quality of applicants' training, the development of their academic culture and the formation of a responsible attitude to the results of their own professional activities.
