State Final Certification of Bachelors at the Primary Education Department -2026
The work of the state examination commission was chaired by Liudmyla Nezhyva, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor of the Primary Education Department of the Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University. The certification was carried out in accordance with the requirements of the current legislation of Ukraine in the field of higher education, the standard of higher education, the educational and professional program and the approved schedule of the educational process.
The final certification provided for the completion of a comprehensive qualification examination in primary school pedagogy with primary education methods and modern Ukrainian language. Examination tasks covered both theoretical and practical aspects of the professional training of future primary school teachers. During the completion of the comprehensive qualification examination, the applicants demonstrated the appropriate level of professional competence, in-depth knowledge of the regulatory and legal principles of the functioning of the modern primary education system, the features of the implementation of the concept of the New Ukrainian School, modern pedagogical technologies and methods of teaching younger schoolchildren.
Members of the state examination commission noted the ability of future teachers to analyze pedagogical situations, to choose forms, methods and means of teaching with justification, to effectively use digital technologies in the educational process, to demonstrate a high level of communicative culture and pedagogical thinking. According to the results of the certification, all applicants successfully confirmed the level of formation of professional competencies.
Based on the results of the work, the state examination commission concluded that the level of training of graduates of the specialty 013 "Primary Education", "Primary Education. Ukrainian Language and Literature" meets the requirements of the Higher Education Standard and the educational and professional program. Graduates demonstrated readiness for professional activity in the ZZSO and the successful performance of the duties of a primary school teacher.
Given the challenges of today and the conditions of martial law, the university provided a mixed format for conducting certification, which allowed creating safe and comfortable conditions for graduates.
In its recommendations, the commission emphasized the need to further improve the training of future teachers by strengthening digital competence, expanding the practice of using modern educational platforms and technologies of distance and blended learning, as well as developing critical thinking skills, professional reflection, team interaction and effective pedagogical communication.
