The celebrations on the occasion of the Knowledge Day were held in the Myrhorod City House of Culture and became a particularly exciting and symbolic beginning of a new stage in the life of the large university family.

Starting the festive event, those present observed a minute of silence to honor the bright memory of all those who gave their lives so that we could study, work, and live on our land today. They also remembered with special gratitude the courageous defenders of Ukraine who are currently defending our state, fighting for its freedom, independence, and future.

On this day, those present recalled the glorious 105-year history of the university, its difficult path of self-affirmation, trials and victories. Despite all the difficulties of today, Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University continues to live, develop, teach and unite around itself those who believe in the power of knowledge, education and the future of Ukraine.

The large university community was congratulated by the rector, corresponding member of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Olena KARAMAN, as well as the head of the primary trade union organization of the university, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Oleksandr MOROZ. The Dean of the Faculty of Natural and Agrarian Sciences, Nataliia MATSAI, also addressed the audience with a warm welcome.

The speakers sincerely thanked the youth for the trust shown in the university and the chosen path of obtaining education precisely in the large university community. Special attention was paid to the importance of knowledge, professional development, responsibility, active life position and faith in one's own strength. The students were wished perseverance in their studies, courage in their dreams, new discoveries, reliable friends, bright victories and a peaceful academic year.

The solemn pronouncement of the oath of the first-year student was a particularly touching moment. From now on, new graduates are a full part of the large university community, having joined the friendly family of the Faculty of Natural and Agrarian Sciences.

The festive atmosphere of the event was complemented by bright and soulful amateur performances of the Myrhorod City House of Culture, which gave those present a good mood and unforgettable emotions.

And the celebrations ended with a traditional joint photo.

May this academic year become for everyone a year of faith in one's own strength, resilience in the face of today's challenges, a year of new acquaintances and great opportunities, unbreakable faith, strength of spirit and awareness that each of us is already creating the future of a free Ukraine today.
