The delegation of LTSNU included: First Vice-Rector, Chairman of the Academic Council, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Vitalii Kurylo, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work, Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor Svitlana Vovk, Head of the Department of History and Archaeology, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Oleksandr Naboka, as well as leading scientists of the Department of History and Archaeology - Ihor Mykhalskyi, Nani Hohokhiia, Yehor Brailian, Yevheniia Shevtsova, Academic Secretary of the University Olha Drobysheva, and a student majoring in "History and Archaeology", President of the Student Self-Government of the Faculty of Social and Humanitarian Sciences Viktoriia Makarenko.

During the meeting, our delegation got acquainted with modern approaches to the development of archival affairs in Ukraine, in particular with the processes of digitization and open access to archival documents. Anatolii Khromov presented innovative projects implemented by state archives in cooperation with Ukrainian and international partners, and also demonstrated modern electronic resources and possibilities for searching for archival information.

A special emphasis was placed on the creation of the War Archive and the preservation of documents from the war period, including measures to evacuate and preserve archival materials from temporarily occupied territories and zones of active hostilities. For the delegation of LTSNU, this issue is of particular importance both for scientific research and for the formation of historical memory.

During the meeting, the importance of cooperation between archival institutions and higher education institutions was emphasized, because universities not only form the scientific potential of the country, but also train specialists who will replenish the personnel of the archival industry in the future.

An important result of the visit of the university delegation was the signing of the Agreement on Cooperation between the university and the Central State Archives of Higher Authorities and Administration of Ukraine. The document provides for the implementation of joint educational and scientific projects, the development of archival practice for students, as well as deepening research on topical issues of the history of Ukraine.

As part of the visit, the Director of the Central State Archives of Ukraine, Larysa Levchenko, conducted a study tour for the university delegation, during which the participants saw the processes of digitization of documents and got acquainted with the unique archival funds of the institution.

For the Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, such interaction opens up new opportunities for training competitive specialists, developing scientific research and integrating into the modern information and scientific space of Ukraine, which is especially important in the conditions of preserving historical truth and restoring the state.
