100 Years Since the Death of Symon Petliura
On May 22, teachers of the Department of Design and Media Production of the Faculty of Arts Anatolii Mishyn and Olha Cherniavska, together with students, attended commemorative events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Symon Petliura's memory day "Our Strength in Unity", which was held at the PDAU - the All-Ukrainian Educational Forum with International Participation "Assessment of the Figure of Symon Petliura in Ukraine and the World" and the V Universal Book Exhibition-Fair "POSHUK".
On May 25, representatives of the Department of Design and Media Production Nazar Bozhinskyi and Bohdan Bozhinskyi took part in the two-day scientific conference “XI Petliura Readings”, which was held at the Poltava Museum of Local Lore named after Vasyl Krychevskyi.
On May 25, the Faculty of Arts held an information hour “Legends and Facts about Poltava's Symon Petliura”, which was conducted by the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Arts Alona Tereshchenko. Materials were provided about his Poltava period and the myth of anti-Semitism.
