Educational and Research Institute of Natural and Agrarian Sciences in its activities is based on the principles and values of the “Development Strategy of the State Institution “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University” for 2019-2025” and implements the main mission of the University.

The priority areas of development of the Educational and Research Institute of Natural and Agrarian Sciences are:

1. Ensuring high quality educational services according to the educational programs of the specialties of the institute's departments.

2. Formation of a team of scientific and pedagogical workers of the institute's departments of a high professional level in accordance with existing requirements.

3. Activation of the scientific and research work of the lecturers and students of the institute; implementation of scientific research results into the educational process through the integration of science and education.

4. Formation of material, technical and informational support for educational and scientific processes at the institute; ensuring comfortable working and learning conditions.

5. Preservation and replenishment of the traditions of corporate unity of the institute's staff based on the traditions of the University and the Educational and Research Institute of Natural and Agrarian Sciences.
