Public discussion of the projects of the new educational programs

The Faculty of Foreign Languages held a public discussion of the projects of the new educational programs “Language and Literature (Japanese, English)” and “Language and Literature (Chinese, English)”.

On December 23, 2022, the Department of Oriental Languages held a meeting with students, their parents, graduates, teachers and stakeholders, dedicated to discussing the projects of the new educational programs “Language and Literature (Japanese, English)” and “Language and Literature (Chinese, English)” .

The guarantors of these programs Yuliya Malakhova (“Language and Literature (Japanese, English)”) and Daria Perepadya (“Language and Literature (Chinese, English)”) presented projects of the educational programs, which reflected the changes proposed for further improvement of the educational process.

The projects were developed in accordance with the recommendations and comments of experts, expressed during the accreditation process at the beginning of 2022, as well as according to the results of surveys of students. The speakers presented and justified the changes made, demonstrated a jointly developed sketch of a structural and logical scheme that reflects the phasing of the study of educational components during the training period.

At the end of the meeting, the participants had the opportunity to ask questions and express their impressions. During the discussion, the participants once again drew attention to the possibility of an individual learning trajectory due to the selective disciplines, which are provided by these education programs.

Summarizing the results of the meeting, the participants were asked to take part in a survey, based on the results of which further discussion of changes and further approval will take place.
