The Second Ukrainian Strongman Championship for Veterans
3.3.2026
On February 27–28, the 2nd Ukrainian Strongman Championship for Veterans, dedicated to the memory of the fallen volunteers, was held in Kyiv.
During two days, athletes from different regions of the country competed in disciplines that require not only physical strength, but also endurance, concentration, and character. The championship brought together veterans from a wide range of nosological categories — from participants with minor injuries to athletes with amputations, spinal injuries, vision impairments, and those who compete in wheelchairs.
Despite the difficult conditions and busy schedule of veteran competitions in Ukraine, the championship was attended by 140 athletes from all regions, competing in 25 categories. It was not just a tournament of strength — it was a manifestation of the indomitable spirit and support of our defenders through sport.
