Working Meeting with the Head of Poltava Regional State Administration

The leadership of our university held a working meeting with the newly appointed head of Poltava Regional State Administration. 

On January 20, 2026, the Chairman of the Academic Council of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, VitaliI Kurylo, and the Rector of the University, Olena Karaman, held a working meeting with the newly appointed Head of the Poltava Regional State Administration, Vitalii Anatoliiovych Dyikivnych.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current issues of the development of higher education in the conditions of martial law and post-war reconstruction, the role of universities in preserving human capital, training specialists for the region, as well as the prospects for expanding cooperation between our university and regional authorities.

Special attention was paid to the possibilities of involving the university in regional development programs, joint scientific and educational projects, initiatives in the field of digitalization, inclusion, veteran policy, and training personnel for the social, educational, and management spheres.

Vitalii Kurylo emphasized the importance of university science in the formation of effective management decisions, the development of regions, and the restoration of the country. Olena Karaman emphasized that today LTSNU is not only an educational, but also a powerful social and cultural center that actively works with communities, youth, veterans and internally displaced persons.

Such a meeting is an important step in strengthening the position of LTSNU as a modern, open and socially oriented university.

Cooperation with the regional authorities will allow the university to more actively participate in the processes of restoring the country, forming new educational models and training specialists who will meet the challenges of the time.

Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University continues its systematic work on expanding partnerships, strengthening its influence in the educational space and creating opportunities for the development of student youth.
