Career Guidance Mission in the Myrhorod Community

Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University continues its career guidance mission in the Myrhorod community.

On November 24, the Marketing Department of LTSNU continued a series of career guidance events in the Myrhorod community. This time, the university team visited pupils of the Dibrivka Gymnasium of the Myrhorod City Council and the Harkushyn Gymnasium.

During the meetings, 10–11th grade pupils learned about the conditions for participation in the All-Ukrainian Marathon of Professionally Oriented Competitions “I Choose My Future.” There were explained three areas of the Marathon, explained the mechanics of participation, the topic, and showed how everyone can show their talents, creativity, and professional interests.

Representatives of our university also spoke about the university’s educational and research institutes, educational programs, opportunities for students, internships, international exchanges, and career prospects. The advantages of the Marathon for educational institutions, students and their mentors were emphasized: certificates, awards, prizes, recognition of active schools and the opportunity to receive vouchers for a discount on tuition for the winners.

Students filled out questionnaires, actively participated in the dialogue, asked questions about the competition, admission and features of education – and received comprehensive, meaningful answers. Each participant in the meeting was given advertising and information booklets about the institutes of LTSNU, their specialties and contact details.

The meetings were held in a warm, relaxed and at the same time productive atmosphere. The representative of our university expresses special gratitude to the director of the Dibrivka Gymnasium for her attention, hospitality and sincere communication during tea, where they discussed educational trends, students’ needs and their attitude towards continuing their studies in higher education institutions.

Career guidance activities continue, as Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University continues to confidently support young people on their path to professional development — for the future of a strong, educated, and invincible Ukraine.
