Student Day at LTSNU

On November 20, a bright interactive celebration for Student’s Day — “I Love Ukraine” — was held at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

The student government, headed by Diana Sapa, and the Primary Trade Union Organization of the university, headed by Volodymyr Moroz, organized an exciting game show “I Love Ukraine!” for students of educational and research institutes. The goal of the event was to prove once again: our students are the smartest, funniest, and most talented in Ukraine!

The host of the event, Diana Sapa, introduced two teams of participants — “Glamour” and “Segins,” after which she invited the esteemed jury to speak:

• Chairman of the Primary Trade Union Organization of LTSNU, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Volodymyr Moroz;
• Vice-Rector for Administrative and Economic Work Artur Moldovanov;
• Head of the Marketing Department Yevheniia Kulyk.

Each member of the jury congratulated the students on Student’s Day, wishing them inspiration, perseverance, creative and academic success.

After the welcoming remarks, the team competitions began. The first rounds were devoted to knowledge about Ukraine — its geography, symbols, historical events and cultural features. The participants confidently demonstrated their erudition and proved that our students know their country perfectly.

The next round was an informative round about outstanding figures — historical, scientific, cultural and sports. It was thanks to such people that the world learned and continues to learn about Ukraine, so this stage aroused special interest.

The music competition was no less exciting: the teams guessed modern songs and their performers. And during the cognitive game, the participants demonstrated their knowledge of birds living in Ukraine – a round that added both liveliness and unexpected discoveries.

After all the competitions were completed, the jury counted the points and announced the winners. The first place was won by the “Glamour” team!

The finale of the holiday was the solemn awarding of the winners, and the most active participants of both teams were awarded with delicacies and sincere applause.

The holiday ended with a traditional general photo, which captured the warm atmosphere, smiles and true unity of the student community of LTSNU.
