Career orientation visits of LTSNU to the Myrhorod community continue.
On November 17, the Marketing Department team of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University visited secondary education institutions of the Myrhorod City Council:
- Public Organization “Myrhorod Lyceum No. 1 named after Panas Myrny”,
- Public Organization “Myrhorod Lyceum “Lingvist”,
- Myrhorod Lyceum named after T.H. Shevchenko.
During meetings with 10–11th grade pupils, university representatives held meaningful career guidance conversations and presented the All-Ukrainian Marathon of Professionally Oriented Competitions “I Choose My Future”, organized by Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.
Using a presentation, the marketing department employees familiarized pupils with the terms for participating in the marathon, talked about its three areas — socio-humanitarian, economic-technological and natural — and explained how students can realize themselves in each of them. They also presented the educational and scientific institutes of LTSNU, outlined the specialties that correspond to the areas of the competition, and presented the wide educational opportunities and advantages of studying at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.
Special attention was paid to the system of incentives for the marathon. Each participant and his/her supervisor will receive an electronic and paper certificate, will be able to win diplomas, certificates and prizes. Educational institutions that will include their students in the competition will be separately noted.
The winners will receive vouchers for tuition (up to 50% for the 1st semester), as well as certificates of enrollment in the educational component in the chosen area.
The pupils got information booklets with a list of institutes and specialties of LTSNU, as well as QR codes for quick access to the Regulations and Terms of Participation. Students actively filled out short questionnaires on choosing the area of the competition, asked questions and received comprehensive answers from the university team.
The meetings ended with sincere wishes of success, inspiration and high achievements to all future participants of the marathon “I choose my future”.
