17.11.2025
A number of educational and preventive activities were held at the Starobilsk Professional College of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University as part of the second stage of Road Safety Week.
Inspectors from the Educational Security Service sector of the Lubny RVP of the Main Police Department in Poltava region visited the institution to emphasize to young people the importance of correct and responsible behavior on the roads.
A meaningful program was prepared for students, which included an informative lecture with a presentation on the rules of safe movement in the city and the use of pedestrian crossings. Young people also took part in a thematic quiz, during which they were able to test their knowledge of the Rules of the Road. The experts paid special attention to discussing the dangers associated with driving mopeds and scooters, in particular in the absence of the necessary protective equipment. In addition, they had a conversation with students about the rules for using electric scooters and the possible consequences of carelessness during their operation.
Such meetings contribute to the formation of a conscious attitude towards personal safety among students and help to cultivate a culture of responsible behavior of all road users.
