7th International Grants Fair in the Sphere of Culture

On November 11, a delegation of the Institute of Arts consisting of Olha Kostiuk and Oksana Hetman, led by director Iryna Prodan, visited the 7th International Grants Fair in the Sphere of Culture.

The event was held at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. During the fair, the delegation learned about European and international support programs, special EU grants for the cultural sector in Ukraine, national support programs, and the Ukrainian Woman project.

They participated in two discussions: “How to do culture when resources are scarce?” by House of Europe and “European values ​​– threatened or under threat?”.

The fair was organized by the National Bureau of the EU Creative Europe Program in Ukraine. The event was supported by the Goethe-Institut, House of Europe, the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation, and the Social Innovation Agency “From Country to Ukraine” and the information partner “Public Space”.

During the fair, the Educational and Research Institute of Arts not only expanded its knowledge of grant opportunities, but also expanded its contacts. There were also pleasant meetings with partners of our University: Director of the Poltava Philharmonic Oleh Tyshchyk, Director of the Poltava Regional Library named after I. P. Kotliarevskyi Nadiia Vlezko, Director of the Oles Honchar Poltava Regional Library for Youth Svitlana Sychova.

This event helped the Institute of Arts to set goals for the implementation of further grant activities and to determine specific steps for further work.
