Prof. Nataliia Yuhan Participates in an Information Event on NFRU Grants and Horizon Europe Opportunities, November 4, 2025
On November 4, 2025, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor of the Department of Literary Studies, Oriental Philology and Translation, and Acting Head of the Department of Romance and Germanic Philology at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, Nataliia Leonidivna Yuhan, participated in the nationwide online event “Grant Opportunities of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine and Support Instruments within the Horizon Europe Programme for Early-Career Researchers”.
The event was aimed at familiarizing the academic community with current research funding mechanisms, the procedures for participation in national and international grant competitions, and opportunities for enhancing scientific mobility and interinstitutional partnerships.
Key topics addressed during the program included:
- the structure and operational principles of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine (NFRU);
- requirements for preparing grant applications, including the scientific concept, budget, and project timeline;
- financial literacy, project budgeting, and common errors in the financial part of proposals;
- legal and organizational aspects of competitive selection processes;
- opportunities offered by the Horizon Europe program for Ukrainian researchers, including partner search, registration on the Funding & Tenders Portal, and participation in open calls for early-career researchers;
- the role of international research consortia, ethical standards, digital science, and open access to research results.
Participation of Nataliia Leonidivna Yuhan in this event contributes to the further development of her research initiatives, the preparation of competitive grant applications, and the strengthening of partnerships between Ukrainian and European academic institutions.
