Meeting with the Head of the Trade Union of LTSNU in Myrhorod
3.11.2025
On November 3, a meeting was held between the first-year students of the ER IBM, ER INAS and ER IMIT and the head of the Trade Union of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, Volodymyr Petrovych Moroz.
Volodymyr MOROZ told the students about the trade union, its functions and structure. He spoke in detail about the history of the university and student self-government, and the students learned more about their rights and obligations.
The primary trade union organization of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University is a public organization of the university, the purpose of which is to represent, implement and protect the educational, socio-economic rights and interests of its members. Joining the trade union is carried out on a voluntary basis, without any restrictions due to nationality, race, gender, party affiliation or religious beliefs. Every person, starting their independent life path, needs support and advice, because we are all probably familiar with the feeling when you are faced with a difficult problem one on one, and it seems that no one and nothing will help you. This is especially true for students who find themselves far from family and friends in a city that will not soon become their own. And quite often, it is the advice and support of others that becomes the last saving straw in the whirlpool of turbulent life.
The primary trade union organization of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University is precisely the organization that was created to provide versatile support to trade union members. “Great attention is paid to promoting educational, scientific and creative activities, because if you have good abilities in something, you need to develop them,” said Volodymyr Petrovych.
Students had the opportunity to ask questions, get useful advice and be inspired for further studies and participation in student life.
The meeting took place in a warm atmosphere, leaving behind positive emotions and motivation for new achievements.
