Meeting with First-Year Master’s Students

On October 14, a meeting was held with first-year master’s students of the ER IPP, who are starting their studies in the educational and professional program A2 “Preschool Education”.

The purpose of the meeting was to introduce the students to the institute’s administration, teaching staff, features of the educational process, and opportunities for personal and professional development.

The director of the institute, M. Yepikhina, addressed the master’s students with a welcoming speech, congratulating them on the beginning of a new stage of study, wishing them success, inspiration, creativity, and perseverance in achieving their goals. She emphasized that studying at the master’s degree is not only a continuation of the previous stage, but also a new level of independence, scientific research, and professional development.

The deputy director for scientific work and the deputy director for social and humanitarian work joined in the congratulations. They spoke about the key areas of the institute’s activity, public and scientific initiatives in which students can participate, as well as about the support that the institute provides to its students.

The master’s students also had the opportunity to get acquainted with the department’s teachers. Each of the teachers briefly told about themselves, their scientific interests, research areas, and the possibilities of involving applicants in joint scientific projects. This allowed the first-year students to better understand the structure of the educational program and form an idea of the further educational process.

The assessment system was presented in a separate block: students were introduced to the principles of distributing points for educational components, forms of control, as well as the requirements for current and final certification. In addition, the structure of the semesters, the procedure for taking tests and exams, and the peculiarities of organizing internships were explained.

After the official part, students had the opportunity to choose elective educational components that best meet their professional interests and educational needs. This approach allows each student to form an individual educational trajectory and deepen their knowledge in the chosen areas.

The meeting took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere, contributing to the establishment of an open dialogue between the administration, teachers and students. It was a good start to the academic year and laid the foundation for further fruitful cooperation of the entire academic community.
