Organizational Meeting

The Primary Education Department held an organizational meeting with master’s students majoring in A3 “Primary Education” who are starting their scientific and pedagogical practice.

The event was attended by practice leaders and department teachers. The purpose of the meeting was to familiarize students with the features of organizing and completing the practice, the requirements for preparing reporting documentation, and the expected results.

The head of the department, Assoc. Prof. N. Mordovtseva, oriented students on the importance of the practical component of the educational program in the specialty, emphasized that the purpose of practical training is to consolidate the knowledge acquired during the study process; acquire basic and professional competencies for making independent decisions in the real workplace; gain experience in performing professional tasks.

During the discussion of the content of the practice, the head of the practice, Assoc. Prof. V. Pushko, presented a presentation with the stages of the practice, outlining the sequence of work of master’s students; provided recommendations on preparing materials for the report, forming a diary and other accompanying documents; explained the procedure for drawing up documentation confirming the completion of the practice tasks; The importance of maintaining academic integrity, the ability to analytically understand one’s own pedagogical experience and present the results of practical activities was emphasized.

The Deputy Director for Academic Work of the National Institute of Primary Education, Assoc. Prof. O. Tsalapova paid special attention to the issues of interaction between master’s students and practice supervisors in basic educational institutions, as well as the possibilities of using modern pedagogical technologies and digital tools in the process of practical training.

The organizational meeting became a platform for constructive dialogue: master’s students received answers to relevant questions regarding the duration, content and specifics of the tasks, and also agreed on a reporting schedule.

Thus, the event contributed to an effective start to the practical training of future teachers, as it provided an opportunity to clearly understand the structure and requirements of practice, determine one’s own trajectory of professional development and tune in to fruitful cooperation with scientific supervisors.
