Anton Nazmiiev’s Open Lecture: “Childhood as a Subject of Psychological Analysis”

On September 10, an open online lecture on the topic “Childhood as a Subject of Psychological Analysis” was held at the Psychology Department. 

The event was conducted by Anton Oleksandrovych NAZMIEV, PhD, Assistant Professor of the Department of Psychology, Head of the Center for Psychological Recovery and Adaptation.

The lecture was held within the educational component “Child Psychology and Psychology of Children’s Creativity” and was addressed to the 2nd year bachelor’s students studying the educational program “Preschool Education”, specialty A2 “Preschool Education”.

Anton Oleksandrovych focused the attention of the audience on the features of childhood as a unique period of personality formation. He emphasized that it is during childhood that basic emotional, cognitive and social skills are formed that affect the entire subsequent life of a person. The specialist revealed in detail:

  • psychological patterns of child development;
  • the role of play and creativity in the formation of personality;
  • factors that influence the formation of a child’s worldview;
  • the importance of interaction between an adult and a child for harmonious development.

In the format of an open lecture, everyone had the opportunity to join the discussion, ask questions and receive professional answers. Such an interactive approach allowed to combine theoretical material with practical recommendations useful for future educators and teachers.

The purpose of this lecture was not only to deepen the students’ professional knowledge, but also to form in them a professional psychological culture, understanding the value of childhood and awareness of the role of the teacher in preserving the psychological well-being of the child. This is another step towards training highly qualified specialists capable of working with children in the conditions of modern challenges.
