The Marketing Department of LTSNU, while working, does not stop at what has been achieved, but constantly improves and learns, participating in modern webinars, trainings and professional events.

Recently, the department team joined a large-scale and extremely informative webinar organized by the NGO “Women in Media” in cooperation with the National Council of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasting, with the support of UNESCO and Japan. The topic of the meeting sounded very relevant:

“Artificial Intelligence in the Work of the Media: OSINT Tools, Fact-Checking, Policies and Protection from Online Attacks”.

For almost four hours, participants had the opportunity to hear from leading specialists and media experts, as well as exchange experiences with students and teachers of journalism from all over Ukraine.

Such events are extremely useful for the Marketing Department team, because:

• they help to better understand new opportunities for using artificial intelligence in advertising marketing, media and communications;
• teach how to use OSINT tools to search and verify information;
• expand knowledge about digital security and protection from online attacks;
• open up space for professional contacts and exchange of experiences.

On August 20, the Marketing Department team consisting of Yevhenia Kulyk, Tetiana Demianchuk, and Kamila Chernyshova received a certificate of webinar participants from the communications manager of the NGO “Women in Media,” who in her official letter thanked the university representatives for their interest in the topic and expressed hope for further cooperation and participation in future events.

Tetiana Demianchuk also received a separate certificate from media professionals as a student of the Journalism Department.
