On August 16, the grand Bogatyr Games “Brothers Outpost 2025” took place in Kyiv — a large-scale sports celebration of strength, endurance, and brotherhood, where the strongest athletes of Ukraine and the world competed for the title of the best team.
Representatives of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University also took part in the prestigious tournament:
- Lecturer of the Department of Olympic and Professional Sports Valerii Hazaiev,
- University graduates Volodymyr Savostianov and Dmytro Iholkin.
It was also a special pride that the main referees of the competition were:
- Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Health Care and Sports of LTSNU, Master of Sports of International Class, three-time European Champion, three-time World Champion in Team Competition, Ukrainian and World Record Holder Oleksandr Dubovoi;
- Senior Lecturer of the Department of Health Care and Sports, Master of Sports of Ukraine in Powerlifting Volodymyr Dubovoi.
The competition brought together both beginners and titled professional athletes, becoming a spectacle that demonstrated the superhuman strength and indomitable spirit of Ukrainian heroes. The participants performed five extremely difficult exercises that tested their strength, endurance and coordination to the limit.
Competition results (first four places of doubles teams):
1st place — Oleksii Novikov / Volodymyr Reksha
2nd place — Roman Hrekov / Ivan Myskovets
3rd place — Valerii Hazaiev / Oleh Pylypyak
4th place — Volodymyr Savostianov / Dmytro Iholkin
The event was especially valuable due to its charitable content: during the tournament, funds were raised to purchase a vehicle for the special purpose unmanned systems unit “Typhoon” of the National Guard of Ukraine.
Congratulations to all participants of the Bogatyr Games “Brothers Forpost 2025” for their courage, perseverance and incredible will to win! Your performances became an example of strength of body and spirit, gave the audience unforgettable emotions and inspired many Ukrainians to new achievements.
