PARTICIPATION IN THE MITACS GLOBALINK RESEARCH INTERNSHIP 2026 PROGRAM

Applications are now open for students to participate in the Mitacs Globalink Research Internship 2026 program.
The Globalink Research Internship is a 12-week research program at Canadian universities for undergraduate students in their 3rd or 4th year of study from around the world.
Selected students will travel to Canada between May and October 2026, where they will collaborate with professors and researchers at host universities on a research project aligned with their academic background and interests.
Participants will receive:
- A fully funded scholarship, covering visa fees, round-trip airfare to Canada, accommodation, living expenses, and health insurance;
- On-campus mentorship and support throughout the internship;
- Free access to professional development events and workshops.
To apply, students must:
Complete the application form at: https://globalink.mitacs.ca/#/student/application/welcome and attach the following documents:
- A CV outlining research interests (template available at https://www.mitacsua.org/mitacs-globalink-research-internship/);
- A reference letter from a university professor (on official university letterhead and signed);
- An academic transcript showing grades for all years of study, including the calculated GPA.
All documents must be submitted in English or French.
Language proficiency certificates (English or French) are NOT required.
