Culture of Luhansk Region Comes to Life in the Capital!

On May 15, the culture of Luhansk region comes to life in the heart of the capital: in the open-air park of the National Museum of Folk Architecture and Life of Ukraine (Pyrohiv) a significant cultural event took place – the presentation of the unique publication “Embroidered Shirts of Luhansk Region”.
The event brought together representatives of culture, education, sports, as well as residents of Luhansk region who currently live in the capital.
The Educational and Research Institute of Health Care and Sports of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University participated in the event, which was presented by:
- Oleksandr Volodymyrovych Dubovoi — director of the Institute;
- Viktor Vasylovych Ostretsov — member of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine, head of the Luhansk regional branch of the NOC of Ukraine, head of the Luhansk regional branch of the Committee on Physical Education and Sports of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine;
- Darшa Oleksandrivna Sipakova — deputy director of the Institute for social and humanitarian work;
- Volodymyr Volodymyrovych Dubovoi — senior lecturer of the Department of Olympic and Professional Sports.
During the event, representatives of the Institute had the opportunity to talk with visitors, talk about the educational opportunities of Luhansk National University, and conduct career guidance work with young people. The atmosphere was extremely warm, sincere and inspiring – in the lively communication, the variety of embroidery, deep respect for the cultural heritage of the Luhansk region was felt.
The book “Embroidered Shirts of the Luhansk Region” is not just a publication, it is a significant contribution to the preservation of the cultural identity of Eastern Ukraine, a symbol of the unity of generations and the continuity of traditions.
