Day of Remembrance and Reconciliation at the ER IBM and ER IMIT
9.5.2025
Every year on May 8, Ukraine, along with most European countries, celebrates the Day of Remembrance and Reconciliation, dedicated to honoring the victims of World War II.
This day is a reminder of the tragic events, human losses and incredible strength of spirit of those who fought for peace and freedom.
Given the current challenges and the importance of preserving historical memory, the Navalny Research Institutes: Business and Management, Mathematics and Information Technologies held an online event called “We Remember! We Win!” dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the victory over Nazism in World War II.
The event “We Remember! We Win!” became an important platform for reflecting on the tragic events of World War II and forming a civic position among the younger generation.
On the occasion of this memorable date, higher education students of the Institute of Mathematics and Information Technologies and the Institute of Business and Management honored the memory of the defenders of the Motherland and laid flowers at the Eternal Glory Memorial Complex.
The Day of Remembrance and Reconciliation is an opportunity to remember the tragic pages of Ukraine’s history, to honor the memory of the dead, and to emphasize the importance of protecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country. It is a day when Ukrainians can unite in remembering the past and striving for a peaceful future.
