Meeting of the “Search” Scientific Club

On April 28, 2025, an extraordinary meeting of the “Search” Scientific Club of the Department of Public Service and Management of Educational Institutions took place.

The agenda of the meeting included the following issues:

1. On the organization and conduct of the final certification.

2. On the involvement of the Department of Department of Public Service and Management of Educational Institutions in the scientific activities.

As part of the discussion of the first issue, the features of the forms of final certification for each educational program were considered. Students majoring in “Public Management and Administration” were provided with information about the conditions for conducting the Unified State Qualification Examination (USQE), the importance of proper preparation, and available methodological materials. Applicants were emphasized that the educational programs they are studying in provide for a mandatory combination of teaching and research. Performing the qualification work ensures the formation of skills for the practical application of theoretical knowledge by systematizing and analyzing this knowledge and the ability to methodically and practically solve current problems. An important requirement for this activity was emphasized – the approbation of the results of the research, which can be carried out at scientific events of the department, university, and other higher education institutions. The result of the work on the research is the public defense of the qualification work as a form of final certification.

Regarding the second issue, a round table was held on Current Problems of Modernity in Scientific Research by Teachers of the Department of Public Service and Management of Educational Institutions of the Educational and Research Institute of Public Administration and Postgraduate Education.

Students were introduced to the main areas of the department’s scientific work on the topic “Interaction of Educational Institutions with Territorial Communities as a Condition for the Reconstruction and Sustainable Development of Ukraine at the Regional and Local Levels”. The Associate Professor Nadiia Vasyniova reported on the results of work on the department’s topic, outlined the most common world bibliographic databases used for scientific work, and reviewed the articles of the department’s teachers on this scientific topic, which were published in journals from the scientometric databases Scopus, WOS.

During the discussion, the prospects and areas of participation of students in the scientific activities of the department were determined. The participants of the meeting received recommendations on searching for scientific information and using modern electronic resources and technologies in their scientific research, and attention was also focused on strict adherence to the norms of academic integrity.

The meeting was held in an atmosphere of constructive dialogue and motivation for active scientific activity.
