Youth Professional Forum “From School to the Professional Elite”

On April 25, a youth professional forum “From School to the Professional Elite” was held in the city of Chornomorsk, Odesa region.

The forum was held within the project “Implementation of youth policy in communities through mechanisms of democracy”, which is implemented by the NGO “Odesa Institute of Social Technologies” with the support of the International Renaissance Foundation.

The event was attended by senior schoolchildren of general educational institutions of the Black Sea community and their parents, ZONZ deputies for organizational work, specialists from local government bodies, representatives of youth councils, school and student parliaments, civil society organizations, scientists, IDPs, etc. The invited guests had the opportunity to meet with representatives of various universities of the Odessa region and the Taras Shevchenko Luhansk National University, watch presentations of educational institutions, hear about the conditions of admission-2025 and the organization of study at the university.

The participants of the event were welcomed by Vasyl HULIAIEV – Chornomorsk City Mayor, Tetiana KANAVA – Director of the Odessa Branch of the Regional Employment Center, Andrii KRUPNYK – Director of the NGO “Odesa Institute of Social Technologies”, Associate Professor of the Department of Public Administration and Regional Studies of the Institute of Public Service and Administration of the National University “Odesa Polytechnic”.

The Forum was attended by lecturers of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, Associate Professor Oksana TsALAPOVA and Associate Professor Nataliya MORDOVTSEVA, who interested and guided the entrants in choosing their future profession, told and presented in a video review the life and activities of our university, which aroused lively and professional interest among the guests.

The Forum consisted of three information panels: “WHO TO BE?”, “HOW TO BECOME?”, “WHERE TO REALIZE YOURSELF?”. The speakers provided thorough and convincing answers to these questions, positive arguments and advantages of studying in domestic Ukrainian institutions.

We wish future applicants to make the right choice of their educational institution and we look forward to seeing everyone at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University!
