Conference at the Department of Foreign Languages for Professional Purposes

On 23 April 2025, the Department of Foreign Languages for Professional Purposes of the Educational and Research Institute of Philology and Journalism hosted the II Scientific and Practical Conference «Foreign Languages in the Professional Activities of Higher Education Applicants».

The event was attended by teachers, higher education students of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, scientists and representatives of educational institutions from different regions of Ukraine. The participants presented topical reports on the role of foreign languages in the formation of professional competence, intercultural communication, methods of teaching languages in a professional environment, as well as innovative approaches to teaching.

The conference became a platform for a lively exchange of views, experience and scientific achievements. Of particular interest were the issues of integrating a foreign language into the curricula of non-linguistic specialities, as well as practical cases of implementing CLIL methods and blended learning technologies.
