At the invitation of the governing bodies of the competition, the director of the Educational and Research Institute of Health Care and Sports of LTSNU, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Oleksandr DUBOVOI, took part in the opening of the sports event.
In his address to young athletes and guests of the holiday, Oleksandr Volodymyrovych emphasized the importance of sports for the physical development of youth, the formation of character, strength of spirit, endurance and team thinking. He wished each participant of the competition confidence, inspiration, a worthy fight and an honest victory, emphasizing that real champions are those who work on themselves every day, regardless of the result.
This championship is not only a competition, but also a great holiday of sports, aimed at:
- development of athletics in the region;
- attracting young people to a healthy lifestyle;
- identifying sports talents;
- forming teams to participate in All-Ukrainian competitions.
After the official part, Oleksandr Dubovoi talked with coaches, young athletes, and parents, presented Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University and its educational opportunities, distributed information booklets about the specialties that can be obtained at the university, and invited young people to our university.
“We believe in sports, youth, and victories. Here, on the running track or in the classroom, the future of Ukraine is being formed. Join LTSNU and become part of a strong and friendly family!” — said Oleksandr Volodymyrovych.
The Championship became another example of how education, sports, and patriotism come together in the common cause of educating the younger generation. Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University supports sports initiatives, promotes a healthy lifestyle, and proudly educates future champions — both in sports and in life.
