Digital Security: A Timely Conversation

The head of the Center for Psychological Recovery and Adaptation held an important and meaningful conversation with teenagers on the topic of digital security.

In the modern digital world, where most communication, learning, leisure, and even personal development takes place in the online space, the issue of digital security is becoming not only relevant, but also vital.

That is why the other day Anton NAZMIIEV – assistant professor of the Department of Psychology of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology, Doctor of Philosophy, head of the Center for Psychological Recovery and Adaptation of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University – held an important and meaningful conversation with teenagers on the topic of digital security.

During the meeting, the issues of safe use of social networks, avoiding cyberbullying, protecting personal data, and recognizing online threats were raised. Special attention was paid to the formation of a conscious attitude towards virtual space, digital hygiene, and maintaining psychological health in a world of excessive information.

Anton Nazmiiev emphasized that digital security is not only about protecting devices, but first of all about protecting the individual. In a friendly atmosphere, teenagers shared their own experiences, discussed difficult situations, learned to analyze potential risks and find ways to avoid them. The lecturer’s professionalism, empathy, and openness allowed each participant to feel heard and important.

Such meetings are another step towards forming sustainable skills of a safe digital environment for young people. Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University continues to work on raising the awareness of the younger generation about the current challenges of modern society, contributing to the formation of conscious, informed, and protected individuals.
