Assistance for IDPs 60+ on the Eve of Easter

The kits were being packaged for IDPs aged 60+ at the Center for Resilience at the Charitable Foundation “Caritas Lubny”.

April 15 was another example of how joint efforts can do good and support those who need it most. An important volunteer initiative took place in the premises of the Center for Resilience at the Charitable Foundation “Caritas Lubny” – the packaging of 300 food kits for internally displaced persons aged 60+ who found themselves in difficult life circumstances.

Employees of the Center for Resilience, volunteers from Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University and the head of the Center for Psychological Recovery and Adaptation of LTSNU Anton Nazmiiev joined this cause. This joint work was aimed at ensuring that in the coming days, on the eve of the bright holiday of Easter, elderly people would be able to receive not only basic necessities, but also the warmth of human hearts.

The food kits were provided thanks to charitable assistance from “Caritas Kolomyia” and the Charitable Foundation “Caritas Lviv UGCC”. In each package is a sign of care and support for those who need attention the most today.

We express special gratitude to the socially responsible business – the company “Nova Poshta”, which financed the delivery of these food kits, as well as provided packaging bags. This is not just technical support – it is a significant simplification of the logistics process and the provision of assistance, which allows volunteers to be even more effective.

This example once again demonstrates: together we are able to do great things. Volunteering, cooperation of public initiatives, responsible business and caring people are the force that supports the viability of Ukrainian society even in the most difficult times.

The light of Easter comes to every home where mutual support and mercy reign. We thank everyone who joined this noble cause!
