Bright memory of the Hero, graduate of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, Vitalii Kozer. 

Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University announces with deep sadness and heartache a great loss – our graduate, a true patriot of Ukraine, a combat commander, a man of honor and duty – Vitalii Kozer has died.

Vitalii was a graduate of LTSNU with a degree in Public Management and Administration. His life and service to Ukraine became an example of dignity, courage and loyalty to national ideals. He chose the path of struggle, not silence. The path of a defender, not an observer. His heart beat in the rhythm of Ukraine – free, strong, unconquered.

He was a commander who led, a fighter respected by his comrades, a man who knew how to ignite faith in victory in the eyes of others. This is how he will be remembered by everyone who knew Vitalii.

His death is a great and heavy loss for the university family, for all of Ukraine. We bow our heads to his feat. He gave the most precious thing — his life — so that we could live under a peaceful sky, teach, build, dream.

In this difficult time, we express our sincere condolences to the family, loved ones, friends and brothers of the fallen Hero. May the Lord give you the strength to survive this irreparable loss, and the memory of Vitalii Kozer will forever remain in our hearts.
