Participation in the Webinar “Who to Trust: How to Check Financial Advice and Financial Experts”

Teachers and students of the Department of Finance, Accounting and Banking listened to the webinar “Who to Trust: How to Check Financial Advice and Financial Experts.”

As part of Global Money Week 2025, the Department of Finance, Accounting and Banking, together with other representatives of the Educational and Research Institute of Business and Management of LTSNU, joined the webinar “Who to Trust: How to Check Financial Advice and Financial Experts”.

Teachers and students listened to a webinar from COO Smart Family Office, private investor, Financial Planning and Wealth Management Professional, CFI, world champion and record holder among junior track and field athletes Alina Shukh.

Webinar participants received practical recommendations on checking financial advice, recognizing real experts from pseudo-specialists, as well as key aspects of critical analysis of information. The speaker emphasized the importance of using trusted sources and shared methods for assessing the competence of financial consultants.

Alina Shukh emphasized: “Before trusting advice, it is worth understanding who is providing it”.

The webinar “Who to Trust: How to Check Financial Advice and Financial Experts?” turned out to be extremely useful and relevant, especially in today’s world, where financial information spreads rapidly but is not always reliable.

We sincerely thank the speaker for her sound advice, and the organizers of the event for the opportunity to join an interesting webinar!
