Participation in the International Scientific and Practical Conference

Postgraduate students of the Department of Political Science and International Relations participated in the International Scientific and Practical Conference.
On March 24-25, 2025, Viktor Syrovatko and Taras Feshchuk, postgraduate students of the Department of Political Science and International Relations of LTSNU, took part in the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Current Problems of the World Economy, International Economic Relations and International Communications in the Context of the Formation of a New World Order and World Polarization”, which was dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the birth of Mykola Mykhailovych Palinchak, Dean of the Faculty of International Economic Relations of the State Higher Educational Institution “Uzhhorod National University”.
The conference was organized by the State Higher Educational Institution “Uzhhorod National University” (Faculty of International Economic Relations); the Center for Ukrainian-European Scientific Cooperation; the National Institute for Strategic Studies; the Hennadii Udovenko Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine; the Oleksandr Dubcek Trencin University in Trencin; the University of Economics in Bratislava; Educational and Advisory Center of the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in Uzhgorod; Academy of Political and Legal Sciences of Ukraine; All-Ukrainian Association of International Economists.
The conference became an important platform for exchanging ideas and developing solutions that will contribute to the development of scientific research and strengthening international relations in the modern world. “Today, it is important not only to understand modern economic processes, but also to form new approaches to solving global problems,” noted Taras Haiduk, Deputy Head of the Transcarpathian Regional Council, in his welcoming speech to the participants.
During the working session “Political Institutions and Processes in the Context of Global Geopolitical Changes and the Formation of a New World Order”, Viktor Syrovatko and Taras Feshchuk presented the results of their research on such topical issues as “Civil-Military Cooperation as a Factor in Modernizing the State’s Defense Potential” and “International Political Decisions in Response to Armed Violence: Balance between Humanitarian Values and National Interests”, respectively.
